Community Pet Sterilization Program

CVMF has undertaken the initiative to help control pet overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership in underserved areas of Colorado by awarding sterilization grants through our Community Pet Sterilization Program fund to licensed veterinarians in underserved Colorado that work to prevent pet overpopulation.

CVMF has funded over $84,500 to projects in Costilla, Delta, Denver, El Paso, La Plata, Logan, Montezuma, Montrose, Otero, Pueblo, Rio Grande, and Sedgwick counties in the form of 23 grants.

Grant Guidelines
