What We Do

Programs of CVMF: The following programs are under the umbrella of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation:

Colorado's Animal Heroes – celebrates the human-animal bond by recognizing animal heroes as well as people who have profoundly helped make Colorado a better place for animals and people.

Community Pet Sterilization Program – provides sterilization grants to veterinarians in underserved areas of Colorado that work to prevent pet overpopulation.

Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital –  provides quality, comprehensive, and compassionate donor-subsidized veterinary care for pets of the economically disadvantaged.

Home Outreach Pet Exams (HOPE) – provides veterinary care for pets of home-bound individuals living on fixed incomes with minimal family or outside support.
